APPLICANT: MEWBOURNE OIL COMPANY. RELIEF SOUGHT: WELL LOCATION EXCEPTION AND EXCEPTION TO OAC 165:10-3-28(c)(2)(B). LAND COVERED: SECTION(S) 4 AND 9, TOWNSHIP 13 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST AND SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, ROGER MILLS COUNTY, OKLAHOMA
THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: To the following parties, if living; or if deceased, then their unknown heirs, devisees, executors, administrators, successors, trustees, and/or assigns; or, the unknown successors, trustees or assigns, if any, of any dissolved corporation, or the unknown successors of any party designated in any record as trustee: Avalanche Oil and Gas LLC; Chisolm Trail Energy Ops, LLC; Diversified Production LLC; Mustang Fuel Corporation; Teocalli Exploration LLC; and all persons, owners, producers and operators, purchasers and takers of oil and gas, and all other interested persons in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Applicant in this Cause is requesting the following relief:
(a) An Order authorizing Mewbourne Oil Company, or some other party, to drill, complete, and produce a multiunit horizontal well (the Cheryl Sue 9/33 MD Fee Com #2H well) in the Des Moines common source of supply for the 640-acre drilling and spacing unit(s) consisting of Section(s) 4 and 9, Township 13 North, Range 22 West and Section 33, Township 14 North, Range 22 West, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, with a completion interval as follows:

First Perforation in Section 33 NCT 165' FNL NCT 660' FWL of Section 33
Last Perforation in Section 33 NCT 0' FSL NCT 660' FWL of Section 33
First Perforation in Section 4 NCT 0' FNL NCT 660' FWL of Section 4
Last Perforation in Section 4 NCT 0' FSL NCT 660' FWL of Section 4

This well will be completed using casing and cement. The completion interval for the lateral shall be defined by the interval between the first and last perforations described above. The proposed location is not a legal location under the terms of Order No. 203659. The Applicant requests the well, if a commercial producer in the common source of supply named herein, be permitted to produce without penalty.
(b) In addition, the Applicant requests that such Order authorize the completion interval of the proposed well described herein to be closer than 600 feet to the well(s) listed below:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this Cause will be set before an Administrative Law Judge for hearing, taking of evidence and reporting to the Commission.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this Cause will be heard before an Administrative Law Judge on the Initial Hearing Docket at 8:30 A.M. on the 12th day of October, 2026, at the Will Rogers Memorial Office Building, 2401 N. Lincoln Blvd., in the Capitol Complex, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105, and that this notice be published as required by law and the rules of the Commission.
Due to renovation work at the Jim Thorpe Office Building, the Commission's Oklahoma City office is relocating to the Will Rogers Memorial Office Building at 2401 N. Lincoln Blvd., in the Capitol Complex, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105.
